The abundance of activities in Mexico is unreal. Mexico has incredible terrain diversity, but as diverse as the country is, is as diverse the menu of activities to choose from. Not everyone likes to do the same thing, right? PROMESA has the 411 on the details from everything leisurely and indulgent to the most extreme sports adventures you can dream up. The SKY is the limit.

While the destination of choice does dictate the type of activity available, we assure you there won’t be a disappointed face in the group.

Hang out at the beach, and discover the school of dolphins going by. Snorkel, Scuba Dive , Sail or wakeboard. Uncover the rainforest, and you can zip line the canopy and witness the most colorful birds and butterflies in the world. Take a monastery tour, backpack the Sierra Madres or shop your heart out in Guadalajara. Take a Jeep off-roading in Cabo San Lucas, or discover Marine Wildlife in La Paz. Surf Puerto Vallarta, or take in a massage in Ixtapa. See Opera at Angela Peralta Theater in Mazatlan, and experience the Aztec dancers of the Mayan Riviera…. There is nothing you cannot dream up that you won’t find somewhere in Mexico.

Be assured that wherever you choose to visit there are a number of options that we cannot begin to list. If you are interested in a particular activity that is not listed here contact the local tourism department when you arrive. A quick search of the Internet can also lead to many different options. First try searching by destination, if that doesn't work try adding the exact words that relate to the activity, within the destination results, on your favorite search site.

Archeological Sites: Mexico is home to an extraordinary number of outstanding archeological sites that give a glimpse into this country's colorful history. Most of Mexico's major sites are easily accessed and well taken care of. Some of these sites are famous, many others are relatively unknown. New discoveries are sure to come. Many ruins lie beneath the Centro Historico section of Mexico City, and are being found regularly when they are digging to repair water pipes or laying foundations for new buildings.
